Our Story
Abba Body and Beauty Works began as we were coming out of the lock down. Hotels, spas and airports were not yet open, but people were eager to go on with their lives. Because our team has deep experience in hospitality, friends began calling to ask if we knew of someone who could come to their house for a massage or a manicure. At the same time, we knew a lot of talented massage therapists who were out of a job.
At Abba we all share a commitment with the community to expand love and contribute to wellness through the touch that comes from love, with intention, to soothe the soul and heal the body.
Why Abba?
The word Abba is an Aramaic word that means “Father.” It was a common term that expressed affection and confidence and trust. There is no other name that could express or define what a blessing this project has been in the life of the individuals and families involved in this woman-run business.
